1975 brought the Porsche 911 Turbo! It was the first serially produced sports car in the world with exhaust turbo charger which was a sensation. Then finally, in 1983, the long awaited convertible was introduced. Starting in 1985 this model was also available in turbo look but the actual combination with a turbo engine wasn’t introduced until 1987.
Our Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 Cabriolet is from its last year of production (1989) and was originally delivered to the US. That’s why it comes with a reinforced 5-gear transmission and why 1989 is probably the most interesting production year. Its mileage clocks at 44,000 miles and its classic white lacquer and blue leather fits the model perfectly. Since 2019 the oldtimer has been with its current owner and is registered in Germany. Body shop invoices exist as well as a certificate with a 2 rating. This Porsche as a turbo convertible is something very special and you can really feel its super strong engine!
