The Mercedes-Benz W 113 series was popularly known as the “Pagoda” after the shape of its hardtop, which was only available as an optional extra. The sporty two-seater made its mark on the fiercely competitive sports car market. Word quickly spread about its suitability for travelling, its comfort and its reliability. From the 230 SL through the 250 SL to the 280 SL, the series was further developed in detail.
Our Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster with automatic transmission spent the first part of its car life in the USA. The so-called “title” shows Pennsylvania as its home until 1999. The technology is in good condition, the body and the interior have been restored. Since 2014, the classic car is in today’s hands and registered in Germany. The charisma and suitability for everyday use of this classic speak for themselves.
