In 1951, Mercedes finally introduced another six-cylinder car to the market. It had the conservative and very reliable body of the MB 170 S which built trust with customers. Paired with the modern six-cylinder technology it created the special appeal of the new Mercedes 220.
Our Mercedes-Benz 220 Limousine was built in 1953, right in the middle of the model’s production series. It was delivered In Germany with foldable sliding roof and heating as special features. This classic was completely overhauled in 2007/2008 and has been with its current owner since 2013. The six-cylinder engine is still a delight and the original flexible, foldable roof a very special feature.
