Sir William Lyons designed several spectacular cars but the Jaguar model E was the highlight. The super sports car was introduced at the Geneva Car Salon in March 1961 and was an instant sensation. The E-Type became Jaguar’s signature car. For many years it was powered by a 6-cylinder double overhead comshaft engine. Over time, the purist car became more comfortable and was even available as an automatic. Its last development was the 12-cylinder engine for the E-Type series 3. Its large 5,343 ccm capacity provided its aggregate smoothness and an impressive torque.
Our Jaguar E series 3 Coupe was delivered in the US and was registered with its current German owner in 2013. The classic received a technical and visual overhaul. It is an active Coupe and ready for anything. There is no outstanding service so let’s go!
