At the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, Sir William Lyons’ second bombshell after the XK model, the Jaguar E-Type supercar was unveiled. It was available as a convertible and a coupé. The engine with 3.8 litres capacity was further developed into a 4.2 litre unit. Many detail improvements distinguish the 1971 model.

Since the restoration of the classic car, which has been registered in Germany since 2005, the odometer, which has been installed in the meantime, shows approx. 2,550 km.
