It took quite a long time for Daimler-Benz to formally recognise the tuning company AMG: the official partnership began in 1990, DaimlerChrysler acquired a majority stake in 1999, and since 1 January 2005, AMG has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of what is now Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Since then, various passenger car model ranges have also been offered as AMG variants. This means significantly more power and bespoke features. These vehicles are in high demand amongst those interested in newer classics, and prices are clearly on the rise.

Our Mercedes-Benz CL 65 AMG is now in its third ownership and has always been registered in northern Germany. All servicing has been carried out at the Mercedes-Benz branch in Hanover.
