- Features & Options
The first vehicle named Porsche was registered on June 8, 1948. It is the Porsche 356/1 Roadster, built in Gmünd (Kärnten / Austria). The Porsche 356 B was produced from 1959 to 1963 as a coupé, convertible/hardtop and roadster in a number of approx. 30,963 units. The 356 B differed from the A model mainly in the use of higher headlights and higher bumpers. Further modifications of the Porsche 356 B were added in the model year 1962 (T6), a bonnet that was significantly widened towards the bottom and the fuel cap in the front right fender. Two vertical air grilles have also been integrated into the enlarged bonnet. The Porsche 356 was the predecessor of the Porsche 911, which is still very popular to this day.
Our 356 BT6 1600 Cabriolet is a late 1963 model and was imported from California in 2008 by its current owner and restored to a high quality by a specialist company. According to expert opinion, the condition is 1-. It was driven rarely but regularly after the restoration and is now waiting for its new owner to take a ride with it.
