- Features & Options
Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG - called Hanomag - was founded in 1835 as an iron foundry. In 1925, the car division was added. This division generated revenues with small cars. The advanced design of Fidelis Böhler and Carl Pollich was built in large numbers as Hanomag 2/10 HP on the assembly line. Because of its peculiar shape the car was ultimately too unusual. so the company started constructing conventional vehicles, the Hanomag 3/16 hp and the Hanomag 4/20 hp. This resulted in 1931 the success type 4/23 hp.
Our Hanomag 4/23 hp left the factory as a sedan. The conversion to the delivery van took place after the war. The documentation dates from 1957. To date, there are 5 known owners. This is a small, unrestored commercial vehicle that anticipates the idea of the station wagon decades ago. The vintage car drives well, but needs a caring hand to improve some body parts. With the Hanomag 4/23 hp as a delivery van, you acquire a piece of contemporary history.
