Bayerische Motorenwerke (BMW) emerged in 1916 from a merger of Rapp-Motorenwerke and Bayerische Flugzeugwerke. The reputation of the company, especially from 1935 when motorcycles were produced, grew rapidly. The takeover of the heavily indebted but well-established Dixi plants in Eisenach/Germany allowed BMW a quick entry into the automotive industry. But only with the type 303 with the six-cylinder engine and 1.2 liter engine a formidable small but spirited car was produced.

Our BMW 321 is a two-door sedan with an upper body by Ambi-Budd. The American company of Edward G. Budd manufactured all-steel bodies since 1912. In October 1926, the Ambi-Maschinenbau AG built a state-of-the-art body shop in Berlin/Germany together with Budd Manufacturing. Thus German carmakers were able to purchase entire bodies from Ambi-Budd. Our BMW 321 Sedan is refurbished and approved in Germany with a license plate for classic cars. A classic data report describes this vintage car with grade 2. It's amazing how agile and uncomplicated it is to drive this vintage car. This is a solid entry into the world of pre-war vehicles.
