The famous car designer "Nuccio" Bertone was selected by BMW to design a modern successor to the then difficult to sell BMW 503 Coupé. Box frame, chassis, engine were "old acquaintances", the technology was proven. When the 3200 CS debuted at the IAA in 1961, it received unanimous praise for the quiet design and the solid execution. At the beginning of 1962 the first coupés from Italy arrived in Munich (Germany). The BMW 3200 CS was also one of the rare appearances in the streetscape. There were only 602 coupes. Although there were more than the 273 units of the predecessor BMW 503, but the market was just not there for these luxury coupes from BMW. Today, the BMW 3200 CS is still largely undiscovered and downright price-attractive compared to the BMW 503.

Our BMW 3200 CS was first registered on September 23rd 1965 and is one of the last built vehicles of this series! The current owner drives this magnificent car since the year 2000. It was extensively overhauled between 2000 and 2004 and the paint job in original color has been renewed as recently as 2015. You have to recognize the class of this rare BMW Coupé, it is ready for a ride.
