Since the 1975 model year, Porsche had the six-cylinder engine in the 911 Turbo with 3 litres of displacement. This unit proved itself so that it was used in the model year 1981 in the 911 SC with 150 kW/204 hp. The increase in power was made possible by the widespread availability of petrol with RON 98. The warranty against rust-through was increased to an exemplary seven years, and was rightly called the long-term warranty.

Our Porsche 911 SC 3.0 Coupé was registered in Hamburg on 09.01.1981 and has been with the second owner since 2003. The mileage of 121,500 km is authentic. That is less than 3,000 km per year. Accordingly, this classic car has been maintained and – as far as the technology is concerned – is in top condition.
