Each year brought optimizations for Porsche 911. In 1974 Porsche changed to a new 911 series called “G”. The engines increased and were prepared for RON 91 octane petrol. Only the Carrera retained the double-row mechanical injection pump. The weight of the new 2.7 Carrera was pretty with its predecessor the Carrera RS. The new Carrera still was a very fast car with great sound and a very and spontaneous onset of power. The emotional difference between the sports car with mechanical Bosch injection and the K-Jetronic injection is very high. Only 631 2.7 Carrera Targa were built. These are the reasons, why these special 911 are one of the most wanted ones.
This early Porsche 911 Carrera is a powerful European version and was delivered to Italy in 1974. According the Porsche certificate, the car has the “matching numbers” engine and the technical equipment corresponds to the original. The classic is registered in Germany.
