The new Jaguar E-Type was the sensation at the Geneva Auto Salon in 1961. Even the successful XK all of a sudden looked old. Its race car road positioning and almost 240 km/h made this car stand out. Its delightful and racy body with both the open two seater (OTS) as well as the coupé didn’t need further explaining. The model was continuously improved which led to the 3. version, the coupé with 2+2 seats. Now the model was suitable for tall people and even families.
Our Jaguar E-Type 2+2 Coupé from the series 1.5 was delivered in the US and has been in Germany since 1989. It has been completely repainted, the engine and front axle were overhauled and the chassis updated. The various receipts for this work since 2000 are available. This classic is historically authentic with the toggle switches on the dashboard and immediately ready to go, even on a big trip!
