Sir William Lyons personally unveiled the Jaguar E-Type at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1961. The public was thrilled. It was as big a sensation as the 1948 presentation of its predecessor, the XK 120! The performance figures alone commanded respect: 195 kW/265 hp, top speed 241 km/h. This made the E-Type a “racing car” for the road at that time. The early models were given the nicknames “Flat-Floor”, both the Coupé and the Roadster. They are the most desirable, although legroom inside is a little restricted.
Our Jaguar E-Type Flat-Floor is from the 1st series and comes from the USA as a left-hand drive car. Completely restored, this classic icon is ready for use.
The classic will arrive soon.
