BMW 3_0 CS Coupé polaris metallic

BMW 3.0 CS

The Paris Salon in 1968 set the stage for BMW’s new big Coupé 2800 CS. It was the follow up to the 2000 CS Coupé with a convincing new front for its amazing 6-cylinder engine. Starting in 1971, the 3.0 CS was offered with an “Otto engine” and the 3.0 CSi with an injection engine. The raw bodies were built by Karmann in Osnabrück and then assembled at the BMW factory in Dingolfing. The series turned into a success for BMW.

After its initial registration in Germany, our BMW 3.0 CS Coupé was based in Finland. It is one of the rare models with automatic transmission with only 2,807 cars built. The classic was restored between 2002 and 2014, first technical features, engine and chassis, later its body and paint. The Coupé is in excellent condition and received a “2” in its evaluation. This classic is a reliable and sporty travel car, also for long trips!

Sporty Coupé with automatic gearbox

Datsun 240Z dunkelgrün

Datsun 240Z

In the early 1960s the German designer Graf Goertz had the courage to approach Datsun. The goal was to develop a sports coupe primarily for the US market. He had proven his knack for exciting design with the BMW 507. Unfortunately, before he could finish, his contract with Datsun expired but he was still able to define the most significant design elements. The model was an instant success in the US, also because of its attractive price of $3,526. In Europe, however, the Datsun 240Z never made a real mark, partially because of its fairly high price at DM 17,600.

Our Datsun 240Z Coupe was initially released in the US. Its mileage of 80,000 miles is credible. The oldtimer is partially restored and registered in Germany. A classic data certificate graded the 240Z with a “2”. This coupé is fresh, timeless and offers infinite driving fun!

Rare coupé with a lot of driving fun

W 3.0 CSL Sonderlackierung

BMW 3.0 CSL

In the fall of 1968 the BMW 2800 CS Coupé came on to the market with a chassis that was cleverly updated from the 2000 CS. The sports coupé quickly became a crowd favorite, especially with its strong 6-cylinder and 3-liter capacity. Very soon the BMW 3.0 CSL dominated in touring car races and one of its most well known pilots was Hans Stuck. One of these CSLs was designed on graph paper as “high tech art” by the American artist Frank Stella.

Our BMW 3.0 CSL Racing-Coupé got its extraordinary design with its restoration. Its technical overhaul was done by tuning shop Peter Koch in Hamburg. The spectacular Coupé has been with its current owner since 2006. Since then it has been completely disassembled, restored and upgraded with a six cylinder engine (3.5 liter) as well as three Weber double carburettors . Since 2017 it has been licensed in Germany. This BWM 3.0 CSL Racing-Coupé with road license is one of a kind and best suited for true aficionados!

Volvo P1800 E

Nobody thought that Volvo, which is known for its solid reliability, could design a car like the sporty P1800 but the 2+2 Coupé was a terrific sports car. For capacity reasons, its production was moved to Great Britain. In April of 1963, the car was renamed P1800 S – the “S” standing for “made in Sweden”. Then the qualitiy was right. In 1969, the P1800 E was released with a high performance engine thanks to the Bosch-Jetronic. In total, 5,057 cars of this model were made.

Our classic P1800 E is from the car’s last manufacturing year 1972. The classic car is a German release, has matching numbers and has been with the same owner since 2008. The car is registered in Germany and has been lovingly restored and technically upgraded over the last 11 years. This reliable and sporty Swede is a great catch and will be a welcome guest at every classic meet up!

Ferrari 365 GTC/4

Mercedes-Benz 350 SL

The definition “sports car” was subject to a change of meaning at Mercedes. Travel comfort and safety became a high priority for the new R 107 series. In addition, the new V8 engine was ready: light, powerful and with far better exhaust emissions than the predecessor. In April 1971, the new roadster was presented to the public, the 350 SL. The advertising slogan was: ‘When there is a new Mercedes, there is a new car!’ The series was built until 1989.

Our Mercedes-Benz 350 SL with its first registration in March 1972 in Bad Homburg (Germany) is a very early model. The manual transmission is rather rare. But it’s a pleasure to experience the V8 engine with the gearshift. A lot of money has been invested in the bodywork and technology. So the car is in exceptional condition.
