Aston Martin Virage

For a long time, the Aston Martin was the gold standard for the handmade English sports car. It had become a bit of a dinosaur in the mid 80s so a new, less costly model was needed. A design competition was called and 5 design teams participated. One of the requirements was that the body had to fit onto a shortened Lagonda chassis. Ken Greenley and John Hefferman’s design was selected. The existing V-8 engine was modernizwed and 4 valves per cylinder led to 340 powerful PS. The new design was first presented at the Birmingham Motorshow.

Our Aston Martin Virage Volante is registered in Germany. This young classic was part of a collection and has only been driven approx. 8,000 kms. After a long hiatus in the garage it has been dusted off and brought back to live at a specialty repair shop. So this is practically a “new” car despite its 24 years of age!

MB 300 SL Roadster nautikblau metallic

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL

At the end of the long construction period of the Mercedes 107 Roadster, the quality was excellent. After the last revision at the end of 1985, this series was exemplary in comfort, safety technology and workmanship. Sure, the V8 versions were a bit stronger and more powerful, but the agile and economical six-cylinder inline engine was a perfect match for this roadster. Then as now – often the first choice.

This Mercedes 300 SL was first registered in Germany in 1986. The classic is healthy, especially since it received a revised engine in exchange in autumn 2020. A service booklet and numerous invoices from the last few years prove that this SL was driven and maintained. The powerful engine runs quietly, the automatic shifts smoothly and the Mercedes drives tight. Who will take care of this well-equipped icon?

Mercedes-Benz CLK 280 Cabriolet blau

Mercedes-Benz CLK 280

In addition to the C-class saloon, Mercedes added the modern Coupe to its offering in 1997. As is typical for Coupés, buyers were willing to pay a higher price for less room but its individuality has always been attractive. Finally in 1998 the Cabriolet was added: stunningly beautiful, harmonious and a worthy successor to the Cabriolet series 124, albeit significantly smaller.

Our Mercedes-Benz CLK 280 Cabriolet was built after the “face lift”, i.e. its from the “new” model series. It was released in Germany. The car has a full service history and received a major technical service at 77,000 km. The Cabriolet presents with high quality and elegant character and reliable performance at 230 PS, in short, a valuable car with high fun factor!

Die schönsten Cabrios von der Nachkriegszeit bis ins neue Jahrtausend

Mercedes-Benz 280 SL

To create an open sports car successor for the famous 300 SL and the very successful 190 SL was a challenging task. So when the brand new 230 SL arrived in 1963 the reviews were mixed. The modern Roadster was certainly an excellent backfill for the 190 SL but not the 300 SL. Six-cylinder engine, power steering, disk brakes and automatic transmission on demand are all technical details that are valid today.

Our Mercedes-Benz 280 SL from the last series was delivered in 1969 by the Daimler-Benz dealership in Frankfurt/Germany. The classic sports car is with its 3rd owner today. Its papers are complete and available and its mileage of 145,000 kms is confirmed through service certificates. This Roadster has never been restored but certainly repaired, e.g. the fenders were replaced and painted in its original color. Additionally, the car received body-cavity sealing. This classic is a German vehicle in best shape for use which is a rarity.

Jaguar XJS V12 Cabriolet anthrazit

Jaguar XJS 5.3

At some point, the Jaguar model E (the icon) had to be replaced! So at the International Motorshow in Frankfurt in 1975 its successor, the XJ-S (later XJS) was introduced as a Coupé. It was completely different from its predecessor, a classic Grand Tourismo, more opulent than sporty. The model E enthusiasts were disappointed but with 112,052 cars sold, this new model was a triumph. The XJ-S with 12-cylinder was particularly popular in the US and it was later also offered as a Targa. Finally in 1988 there was a convertible version! Its solid, electromechanical roof developed by Karmann (Osnabrück/Germany) stands out and the car received rave reviews.

Our XJS 5.3 Cabriolet with V12 engine is a German delivery and currently with its second owner. It has low mileage (25,000 km) which adds to its “as good as new” appeal. It is registered in Germany. The reliable and powerful performance of the V12 is still impressive and makes driving this classic a real treat!

Rather unconsumed second-hand classic

Ferrari 308 GTS Targa rot

Ferrari 308 GTS

The open version of the Ferrari 308, the Targa 308 GTS, was presented at the International Motor Show at Frankfurt in 1977. Until 1980 3,219 cars of this model were built, more than the coupé. Today, the 308 GTS is considered a classic Ferrari and endless driving fun, especially on winding roads, is guaranteed.

Our Ferrari 308 GTS was delivered to the US. It has MATCHING NUMBERS and is an almost untouched original. This oldtimer was rated a “2” in its classic data evaluation.

BMW Z3 M Coupé blau

BMW Z3

The BMW Z3 Coupe with its exotic shape by designer Chris Bangle is over loved or hated. Once before there had been a BMW Mille Miglia and a Touring Coupè. So many decades later it’s once again an unusual pair that gets presented at the International Motorshow in Frankfurt/Germany in 1997. The 6-cylinder engine with 2.8 liter capacity alone provides the Z3 with amazing performance and the potential of the model M is gigantic!

Our BMW Z3 Coupe is in pristine condition. It was serviced completely by a specialist in 2018 and has recently had another check up. Driving the M Coupe is pure joy! Once you know it, you will love it!

M Coupé with gigantic performance

Fiar 2300 weiß

Fiat 2300

Not until 1959 did Fiat offer upper middle class models with 6-cylinder engines again: The 1800 and 2100. They were spacious limousines with six seats and one continuous bench in the front. The trapeze shaped body was considered ultra modern like in Mercedes’ “tail fin”, the Peugeot 404 and the Lancia Flaminia. But the engines were also newly developed: Six-cylinder with inclined overhead valves, cross-flow carburetor, high-lying camshaft and polysphere combustion chambers.

Our Fiat 2300 Limousine is one of the direct successors of this model with refined interior and higher performance. What makes this already very rare oldtimer even more special is its originality. It is unbelievable to sit in this witness to the 1960s! On vacation in Italy we typically only saw the Fiat 500 and 600 but sometimes also the luxury Fiat 2300. Rare already back then, our limouse is a true rarity today!
