Bentley MK VI

Shortly before the war Bentley presented the MK V and it became the basis for the MK VI which was introduced in 1946. This was the first time one could order a complete car from Bentley! But they also still sold many chassis for customized designs.

Our Bentley MK VI Cabriolet was built in 1949 and was tuned as a “Drophead Coupe (DHC)” by the body shop Park Ward. Its roof is electric. The first owner was A.J. Brown in England and in 1977 this magnificent convertible was sold to the US. In 1986, it was purchased by a passionate collector, a musician with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. At that time, the Bentley was restored and no expense spared. It was its owner’s wish for this classic convertible to return to England. Starting in 2007, this rare oldtimer was been driving under the British flag again but is now German owned and registered in Germany and ready to find a new home!

Bentley MK VI

Since 1946 there was a new Bentley on the market based on engines that had been developed in 1938. The body design was based on the Bentley MK V, which was only sold in small numbers due tp the war. Another novelty was the standard steel body.

Our Bentley MK VI by James Young was characterized as a “Fixed Head Coupé de Luxe”. Its first owner, Mr Percy Cecil Henderson, a business owner from Essex bought the exclusive Coupé from car merchant Jack Barclay in London. The historic English documents list five owners. Since 1966 the Oldtimer was in the Netherlands and is now in German hands. Years ago this very rare car was completely overhauled. The Bentley runs very well, and although the opulent interior shows some wear and tear, it is still in good condition. Its weakest feature is the paint which has been considered when we priced the car and we would be happy to offer the Coupe with a new coat a paint. James Young’s signature features like elegant design and superior wood craftsmanship are very visible in this special classic car!

Bentley Azure

After many years of Bentley and Rolls-Royce having identical bodies, the Bentley Coupé Continental R 1991 was finally a Bentley-own series! The Coupé was very successful from the get go and in 1995 the Bentley Azure, the open version of the Continental Coupé was presented at the Geneva Salon. This classic was a unique combination of relaxed high performance and stylish elegance. Its 389 PS and powerful torque spoke for themselves!

Our Bentley Azure is a German release, registered with its second owner and its low mileage of 23,000 kilometers is documented. So this is definitely a high calibre cabriolet and there aren’t many opportunities to buy such a lightly used Bentley Convertible. This Azure is a collector’s item and pure driving joy at the same time!

Bentley 4 6 1/2 litre blau/schwarz

Bentley 4 / 6 1/2 litre

In the end of the twenties Bentley was very successful with the types 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 ltr. The Bentley 8 litre with 220 hp was developed for the even higher supreme luxury segment. But then the Great Depression came and a small Bentley was needed. That is why the already produced 8 litre chassis (construction Ricardo) were fitted with the 4 litre engines. So the 4 ltr was born. 50 cars were sold until Rolls Royce took over Bentley.

Our Bentley is the no. 22 of 50 with the 8 litre chassis. It was equipped with the 4 litre engine, when it left the factory. For some people, the 4 liter engine had not enough power for the heavy chassis. Same happened to this Bentley so the stronger 6 1/2 litre engine was installed. It fits perfect to this gorgeous and sporty open tourer. The engine has been completely overhauled by a well known German workshop. This Bentley is one of the most impressive classic cars. Try and you will see.

Bentley Eight silber

Bentley Eight

The new generation was separated in Rolls Royce with the “Silver Spirit” and Bentley with the “Mulsanne”. Later Bentley sized the same car a little bid down and presented as the model “Eight”. So the “Eight” was a little simple equipped “Mulsanne”. That was Bentley’s way to look out for new and maybe younger customers. With success – 1,734 Bentley Eight were built.

Our Bentley Eight is an original german delivery.  All books and service documents are available. With its catalyst it is clean, powerful, sovereign and suitable for daily use. Get this classic car.

Bentley Continental R

Ever since the mid-60s the Bentley brand lost market share against the more successful Rolls-Royce. In 1981, in the first full production year of the Bentley Mulsanne and the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit only 151 Bentley were sold while Rolls-Royce sold a total of 3,014 cars! The reasons were to be found in the similar technology and body of the cars. The Bentleys had to differentiate themselves from the RR types. One key part of that strategy was the performance of the car. The differentiation strategy proved successful when in 1990 both brands came to a tie with new orders and in 1996 when 1,235 Bentleys were sold but only 509 Rolls-Royce. Coupés were available from Bentley since 1966 but ever since 1980 only the convertibles had been offered. So when in 1991 the Continental R was released in Geneva, the time was right. Even more important was the fact that no direct competitor was offered by Rolls-Royce! And that the new Contintal R was offered only with the very powerful turbo engine of the Turbo-R sedan.

Our Bentley Coupé has a German registration. The classic is in excellent condition with a mileage of just about 99,000 km. These vehicles were the last cars developed prior to the BMW era.

Young classic in a excelllent condition

Bentley S 1

The Bentley S 1 was the long-awaited successor to the Bentley MK VI and R-Type. Bentley retained the high-torque, robust and reliable six-cylinder engine amd paired this with an automatic transmission. With revised brakes, suspension and power steering, luxurious driving and travel was redefined. The body resting on the frame grew in size and gave the series its classic and prestigious appearance. Unlike the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, however, this Bentley appeared a bit sporty and restrained. Because of its solid engineering, the more fuel-efficient early Bentley and Rolls-Royce models of this series are particularly popular today.

This late, left-steered Bentley S1 was delivered as a new car to the United States. The saloon was restored a long time ago and rarely but regularly moved ever since. Slightly patinated in the interior but with new leather, the classic car in this color combination still looks gigantic and can be moved remarkably light-footed. You’ll rarely get a more luxurious and charismatic car at a more attractive price than this.

luxury flair for a fair price

Bentley S 3

After 9 years of the first post-war Bentley, the MK VI / R-Type, the illustrious clientele curiously awaited the successor. In 1955, the Bentley S 1 was introduced. Conservative, with a separate chassis but with a stylish line by John Bentley. The S 1 met the taste of clientele exactly. Noteworthy: more Bentley S 1s were sold than the RR Silver Cloud I, the sister model. In 1959 the Bentley S 2 was introduced with almost the same body, but the all-new V8 engine with significantly more power. The completion of the series was the S 3 from 1962 to 1965, easily recognizable by the twin headlights.

Our Bentley S 3 had only one owner in the UK and has been registered in Germany since 1987. It was thoroughly revised and also painted in the original color combination back then. In 2017, it received a major service including brakes, suspension and ventilation were restored. The size of the car is not noticeable thanks to the power steering and the excellent performance of the V8 engine. This Bentley moves really well and provides plenty of driving pleasure.
