Jaguar MK IX creme

Jaguar MK IX

Jaguar’s large saloon, the MK VII, was introduced in 1950. Its marketing coined the slogan “Grace, Space, Pace”, a perfect description of its outstanding attributes. Its detailed design evolved from the MK VIII to the MK IX, its most mature model. Very fast at 220 PS and comfortable as an automatic. A little over 4,000 cars with left hand drive were manufactured.

Our Jaguar MK IX hails from the US and has been completely restored by its current owner in Germany which increased its purchase value significantly. The classic is registered in Germany and technically super fit with just a few light signs of wear which are actually charming. We are always on the lookout for classic cars like this, which got invested in without worrying too much about cost. This saloon is a perfect example!

Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster flaschengrün

Mercedes-Benz 280 SL

The new SL had to replace the iconic 300 SL but also the very successful mode 190 SL. That is why the Mercedes sports car was newly defined: high performance combined with optimal driving behavior and polished comfort. These criteria matched perfectly with the series W 113 and the 230 SL and it became a modern replacement for the 190 SL. The 300 SL, however, was irreplaceable. The market welcomed the new SL with enthusiasm and that has not changed. Mercedes-Benz has been known to constantly upgrade its model series thus the 230 SL became the 250 SL and ultimately the 280 SL, its most mature version.

Our impressive 280 SL was delivered to the US with a title in California. It has been registered in Germany since 1995 and is with its current owner since 1997. The classic has been a loyal companion on big trips. Despite its origin in the US, it features the so-called medium rear axle transmission. This car comes with comprehensive receipts from German body shops confirming that it has always been technically taken care of.

A loyal companion on long journeys

Mercedes-Benz 300 d

When the Mercedes 300 d was introduced in August 1957, the smaller models already had self-supporting bodies but the large Mercedes “Adenauer” had remained conservative. The new model designation W 189 made it clear, however, that many changes were really a completely new construction. The new body was named “hardtop saloon” based on the rear part of the side window which was removable and made the roof look light and floating like a “hard top”. The 300 d, like its predecessors was extremely expensive at a DM 27,000 price point. Only 3,037 were built so this classic car is very rare today.

According to its data sheet our 300 d was delievered in New York. Its silver grey metallic (DB 180) coat and blue leather are its original color. The classic has been in Germany since 1991 and with its current owner since 2005. We have all service invoices from Mercedes repair shops since 2002. You are dealing with a wonderful high end and visually authentic classic here! It’s extensive original features make it a real gem!

Representative saloon with enormous equipment

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II

The new Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud replaced Silver Dawn as the first post-war model. The body was well designed and the technology (6-cylinder engine) solid. The Silver Cloud II was introduced in 1959 with a few changes: visually almost unchanged but with a brand new V8 aluminum engine. With a capacity of 6,230 ccm the model came with an enormous torque. In typical understated fashion, Rolls-Royce called its 200 PS performance “sufficient”. Since the Silver Cloud II continued having a separate body, special additions were possible and popular.

Our Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Cabriolet was built in 1961 and immediately received a classic 2-door Cabriolet addition by H.J. Mulliner. Contrary to many future limousine conversions, our Cabriolet was first sold like this. There aren’t many large Cabriolets that can compete with the gorgeous lines and exquisite craftsmanship of this Rolls-Royce.

Mercedes-Benz 230 SL

Only a few roadsters have combined suitability for daily use and elegance as the “Pagoda”. That´s the term for the type W113 from 1963 until 1971. Short to 50,000 units were produced from this type, around two-thirds were prevalent exported to the USA. The “Pagoda” was popular at the glitterati as well. The popularity extends into the present time, for many fans this SL remains one of the most beautiful Mercedes roadsters .

Our 230 SL “Pagoda” was bought in Cannes from the current Norwegian owner in 1987. Around 20 years ago mainly the body was restored. Technical work was done later, all carried out by specialists. In 2011 comprehensive work was carried out at the engine and mechanics, invoices are available. In 2012 the complete interior was restored by a specialist in Hamburg/Germany. The 230 SL was maintained through a specialist each year. The combination of this beautiful and rare colour and high quality general condition shows an interesting offer.

Volvo P1800 E

Nobody thought that Volvo, which is known for its solid reliability, could design a car like the sporty P1800 but the 2+2 Coupé was a terrific sports car. For capacity reasons, its production was moved to Great Britain. In April of 1963, the car was renamed P1800 S – the “S” standing for “made in Sweden”. Then the qualitiy was right. In 1969, the P1800 E was released with a high performance engine thanks to the Bosch-Jetronic. In total, 5,057 cars of this model were made.

Our classic P1800 E is from the car’s last manufacturing year 1972. The classic car is a German release, has matching numbers and has been with the same owner since 2008. The car is registered in Germany and has been lovingly restored and technically upgraded over the last 11 years. This reliable and sporty Swede is a great catch and will be a welcome guest at every classic meet up!

Bentley S 1

The Bentley S 1 was the long-awaited successor to the Bentley MK VI and R-Type. Bentley retained the high-torque, robust and reliable six-cylinder engine amd paired this with an automatic transmission. With revised brakes, suspension and power steering, luxurious driving and travel was redefined. The body resting on the frame grew in size and gave the series its classic and prestigious appearance. Unlike the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, however, this Bentley appeared a bit sporty and restrained. Because of its solid engineering, the more fuel-efficient early Bentley and Rolls-Royce models of this series are particularly popular today.

This late, left-steered Bentley S1 was delivered as a new car to the United States. The saloon was restored a long time ago and rarely but regularly moved ever since. Slightly patinated in the interior but with new leather, the classic car in this color combination still looks gigantic and can be moved remarkably light-footed. You’ll rarely get a more luxurious and charismatic car at a more attractive price than this.

Bentley S 3

After 9 years of the first post-war Bentley, the MK VI / R-Type, the illustrious clientele curiously awaited the successor. In 1955, the Bentley S 1 was introduced. Conservative, with a separate chassis but with a stylish line by John Bentley. The S 1 met the taste of clientele exactly. Noteworthy: more Bentley S 1s were sold than the RR Silver Cloud I, the sister model. In 1959 the Bentley S 2 was introduced with almost the same body, but the all-new V8 engine with significantly more power. The completion of the series was the S 3 from 1962 to 1965, easily recognizable by the twin headlights.

Our Bentley S 3 had only one owner in the UK and has been registered in Germany since 1987. It was thoroughly revised and also painted in the original color combination back then. In 2017, it received a major service including brakes, suspension and ventilation were restored. The size of the car is not noticeable thanks to the power steering and the excellent performance of the V8 engine. This Bentley moves really well and provides plenty of driving pleasure.
