Jaguar XK 150 S OTS

The Jaguar XK 150, available starting in the spring of 1957, was the perfected extension of the XK-series. It was bulkier and more comfortable than its predecessors and was meant to delight customers until the completion of the series E-Type. In March of 1958 the high performing model S was introduced, with 3 carburettors, identifiable by the preceded “T” in the chassis number.

Our Jaguar XK 150 S OTS is one of these rare models and was initially exported to the US. Since 1994 the roadster was at home in Spain and has had a German owner since 2014. This Oldtimer shines not only with its high performance features but also its unique style. The leather, a little patinated, is fabulously original. Any new owner will want to invest a little, e.g. in new tires and throttle linkage bushings. The electrical contact in the overdrive occasionally loses function. This Jaguar XK 150 S can easily be compared to other classics like the Mercedes-Benz 300 S, Aston Martin DB4 or Ferrari 250 but its price is a lot more reasonable!

Jaguar MK II 3.8

Jaguar’s big project, a medium sized limousine, was introduced in 1955. In addition to the original 2.4 liter capacity, they soon introduced 3.4 and 3.8 liter engines and the Jaguar MK II become one of the sportiest limousines available.

Our Jaguar MK II is the highest performing model with 6-cylinder engine and 3.8 liter capacity. The classic combination of dark blue color and grey leather is stunning. This car is partly restored (we recommend sealing its underbody) and has a beautiful interior. Get excited about this excellent classic!

Austin-Healey 3000 MK III BJ 8

The Healey 1000 was a sensation at the Earl’s Court Motorshow in London in 1952. Initially Austin only supplied the engines but the tremendous success led to Austin taking over the entire production under Austin-Healey. Initially the roadster was a clonky but its continuous development turned the Austin-Healey into a cultivated sports car. In 1956 its 4-cylinder engine was replaced with 6 cylinders.

Our Austin-Healey 3000 is from the last series as MK III with 150 PS. The convertible edition with crank windows and a proper roof is most popular today. The classic car has been with the same owner since 1992 and has been partially restored. It has never been disassembled and its core is very solid. This 52-year old car is registered in Germany and in very good condition. This is very unusual for a car of its kind and makes it a collector’s item and a fully functioning car at the same time!

Technical highlight of the 50s

Jaguar XK 150 OTS

The Jaguar XK 120 was a sensation at the London Motor Show in 1948. The designation “XK 120” pointed to the top speed of 120 mph = 193 km/h. An unbelievable pace at the the time. The Roadster has been successfully developed even further from there, ending up with the last development stage of the XK 150. Produced from May 1957´onwards, this model was the most mature and had disc brakes on all four wheels as the key innovative feature. Until the introduction of the equally revolutionary successor, the E-Type in 1961, the XK 150 continued ist success.

Our Jaguar XK 150 Roadster is painted black with red leather interior. It looks magnificent. The Roadster has the original 4-speed gearbox with overdrive. It is with ist current since 2006, yet the restoration was before that. It shows some light patina which gives it a proper vintage look. It is fully operational and approved in Germany.

Austin-Healey 3000 MK III BJ 8

Donald Healey and Leonard Lord, head of Austin, built a strong sports car for the American market, the Austin-Healey 100. The AH 3000 was developed from various platforms, inscluding the AH 100 and the AH 100 six. The late-generation Austin-Healey 3000 offered the highest standard engine performance of its kind and by far the most comfort. The MK III version with crank windows and easy-to-use folding convertible top is preferred today.

Our Austin Healey MK III was produced in this color combination in the last month of production in November 1967. The Roadster was originally shipped to the US and came to Germany in 2008. Since then, the sports car is in a German collector’s hands and was always cared for in a specialist workshop in Hamburg/Germany. In 2010/2011, the complete engine and the front axle were restored. This late and mature AH BJ8 convinces with its correct and typical coloring and presents itself in very good condition. Take this opportunity to buy one of the last built Austin-Healey 6 cylinders and look forward to a great engine sound, performance and unparalleled driving pleasure.
