Mercedes-Benz 220

Daimler-Benz had always been known for luxury and sophisticated technology but the first post-war model, the 170 V only partly met those expectations. With the release of the Mercedes 220 in July 1951, the old virtues returned. Especially the new six-cylinder engine drew a lot of attention and praise, and rightfully so. Keeping with tradition, the model 220 was available as a 2- and 4-seater convertible A and B.

Our Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A was built in 1952, the first full production year of this model. It was completely restored several years ago and is licensed in Germany. Since its overhaul, it has only been driven for 9,000 kilometers. Only 2,270 cars of the Cabriolet A and B were built so it was and is a very unusual and striking model!

Lagonda LG45

Since 1906, the Lagonda company was registered as an automotive manufacturer. The founder, Wilbur Gunn, an opera singer of American origin, just tried his luck as an automotive producer in his new English home. The M45, from which the LG 45 was born (with a little help from W.O. Bentley), was very successful. Powerful, reliable and solid. It was significantly easier to drive than a Bentley, but quite a bit taller than the Bentleys of the Rolls-Royce era.

Our Lagonda LG 45 is an early vehicle of the series. It still carries the convertible body that it had ex works. The car has matching numbers and is registered in Germany. An appraisal confirmed the older restoration, which is still in good condition, as grade 2-. This convertible can be used on longe trips over several days. You will sit comfortably and safely.

Porsche 356 Pre-A 1600

Porsche started producing the model 356 in 1950. The Roadster body – which Porsche called Speedster – satisfied the demand of the US market. It was supposed to be light, fast and affordable. It is still light and fast although its price has changed dramatically. The Speedster, especially the early Pre-A model, is highly sought after.

This rare Pre-A Speedster already had the stronger 1600 engine, when it was delivered in the US according to its Porsche certificate. Only a few cars of this series were made before the regular 365 A Speedster was released. The original engine exists, has been overhauled and will be delivered with the car. Our Porsche Speedster currently has a type 912 engine with approx. 90 HP. This Porsche Speedster impresses with its amazing driving qualities, has been meticulously restored and is in immaculate shape.
