Mercedes-Benz 220 a Limousine weißgrau

Mercedes-Benz 220 a

Finally, in July 1953, Daimler-Benz introduced a new model series in pontoon style with the model 180. The high end clientele for 6-cylinder engines, however, had to wait until March of 1954 when the Mercedes 220a finally arrived with a very cleverly extended wheelbase. The extended engine compartment added to the model’s more elegant and grown up look compared to the slightly chubby 4-cylinder. Initially, it’s price was a steep DM 12,500.

Our Mercedes-Benz 220 a Limousine features the large Webasto foldable sliding roof with sunshield and as windbreakers which is very rare! The car was first released in Duisburg to the Raab Karcher shipping company. From 1958 to 1965 it was with Moritz von Cornap in Karlsruhe, then in private hands and since 2005 with its current owner. The partial restoration of the engine and carburetor is documented with images. Since then the oldtimer has hardly been driven. The last couple of years it has been in service with Mercedes-Benz body shops but still could use a little TLC (tender loving care). It is registered and immediately driveable!

Rolls-Royce 20_25 HP schwarz

Rolls-Royce 20/25 HP

After World War I the demand for larger cars, especially the ones with chauffeur, declined rapidly. So Henry Royce felt compelled to develop a smaller model, the “Twenty” which was introduced in 1922. Its outstanding performance for its size (100 km/h were possible!) made the Twenty very popular with its owners. The next version of this model was the 20/25 HP which was in production between 1929 and 1936. With 3,9827 cars the small Rolls-Royce was a big success.

The body of our Rolls-Royce 20/25 HP is an All-Weather Convertible from T.H. Gill & Son Ltd. It is a particularly high end and one of a kind car. Its gorgeous Art Deco mounts in sterling silver are remarkable. Its first owner was a Mr. Ferguson and the vintage car (MATCHING NUMBERS!) enjoyed a complete restoration by Bowling-Ryan Ltd. In Kearsley near Manchester. Today this classic is registered in Germany.

Mercedes-Benz 220 SE b blau

Mercedes-Benz 220 SE b

At the Geneva Salon in March 1959 several manufacturers showed the new “trapeze line” that Pininfarina had created: BMC with the Austin A 55, Fiat with the models 1800 and 2100 and also Alfa Romeo. Daimler-Benz designed the new body with tail fin under the leadership of the design genius Karl Wilfert. When the car industry media was introduced to the new cars in August 1959 they raved about their understated elegance and its generous spacial design.

Our Mercedes 220 SE b is the top model with the amazing 120 PS injection engine, it was delivered in Italy, was owned by the church in Calabria for a long time and is now registered in Germany. It’s seemingly untouched body is impressive and the fabric of its interior must have been renewed at some point. This classic is distinguished and elegant and original cars of this model series have become rare.

Porsche 911 (993) Carrera blau

Porsche 911 (993) Carrera

Starting in 1994, Porsche made significant changes to their front and back design. The engines became stronger and a new 6-gear transmission as well as a completely new rear axle became part of production. Another fun fact from that time: On July 15, 1996 Porsche built its millionth car!

Our Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet is a German release with initial registration in Krefeld/Germany. It has been well serviced by Porsche shops and its 124,000 km mileage hardly shows. This young classic is a solid everyday vehicle with high potential to become a sought after classic car!

1927_Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Coupé grün

Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0

By 1976 the Porsche 911 had already been on the market for 12 years and there had been small improvements every year. But when Porsche became the first car manufacturer to make cars from hot dipped deep drawn steel it was a sensation! This material is difficult to paint but Porsche was able to maintain its very high paint quality. The 911 Carrera had 3 liter capacity and the K-Jetronic by Bosch. The 911 model variety got streamlined to 911, 911 Carrera and 911 Turbo.

Our Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 comes to us from the lovingly curated collection of an classic car connoisseur. The combination of its oak green metallic exterior with beige/green checked leather/fabric interior is sensational. This coupé has been thoroughly serviced: its engine, transmission, axles, brakes were overhauled between 2016 and 2018 with receipts. The classic data check from May 2020 confirms its condition as 1-. This Porsche Classic is a must see! And it will be even more fun to drive!

Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6_3 grau

Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3

In the 1960s the “PS race” with medium sized cars came from the US to Europe. Mercedes was in one of the leading positions with its 300 SEL 6.3. The effort was minimal: They took the body from the S-series and implanted the super strong engine from the Mercedes 600. The standard air suspension gave the high powered saloon flawless road positioning. The market welcomed the new luxury Mercedes with enthusiasm. Between July 1968 and September 1972 6,526 were built.

Our Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 was delivered to the US and to our knowledge has had 5 owners. This classic is partially restored and its air suspension, exchange gearbox and its interior have been upgraded. The cflassic is registered in Germany and should get new tires, new brake hoses

BMW Z3 M Coupé blau

BMW Z3

The BMW Z3 Coupe with its exotic shape by designer Chris Bangle is over loved or hated. Once before there had been a BMW Mille Miglia and a Touring Coupè. So many decades later it’s once again an unusual pair that gets presented at the International Motorshow in Frankfurt/Germany in 1997. The 6-cylinder engine with 2.8 liter capacity alone provides the Z3 with amazing performance and the potential of the model M is gigantic!

Our BMW Z3 Coupe is in pristine condition. It was serviced completely by a specialist in 2018 and has recently had another check up. Driving the M Coupe is pure joy! Once you know it, you will love it!

M Coupé with gigantic performance

Maserati Quattroporte silbergrau

Maserati Quattroporte

No other than the small manufactory Officine Alfieri Maserati was brave enough in 1963 to put a full-blood sports engine into a luxury limousine. The engine, a V8 with 4.2 liter capacity, came from the race car 450 S and the legendary sports car 5000 GT. That’s how the Maserati Quattroporte became the fastest 4-door limousine of its time with a body designed by Pietro Frua. Its low key shape was geared towards the lovers of “understatements” who wanted to set themselves apart from the masses. Only 776 of the Quattroporte I were built, all mostly handmade.

Our Maserati Quattroporte was delivered to Dr. Ferrarini in Mantua, Italy. Until 2016 the luxury limousine had 4 Italian owners. Then the gorgeous oldtimer was restored, led by Carozzeria Scartapatti in Mantau. With only 15,000 kilometres driven after the restoration, this classic is basically new!
