With the Ponton-Limousine 220 a with the 6-cylinder engine, Daimler-Benz was finally able again to offer a modern car for the upper middle class. However, the convertibles in the W 187 series looked fairly conservative and it took until July 1956 until a convertible for the series W 180 was developed. Its integral body made the development of this special body type more difficult. This dream car, named 220 S Cabriolet, was stunningly beautiful, of highest quality and mostly handmade. Its features made the new convertible an instant classic.

Our Mercedes-Benz 220 S Cabriolet is registered in Germany. It was completely restored and is as good as new. It comes with a current evaluation of 1-. The original license certificate (“Certificat d’immatriculation”) shows that the car was initially registered in France. It’s a delight to see this convertible and it’s instant driving fun!

The open version of the Ferrari 308, the Targa 308 GTS, was presented at the International Motor Show at Frankfurt in 1977. Until 1980 3,219 cars of this model were built, more than the coupé. Today, the 308 GTS is considered a classic Ferrari and endless driving fun, especially on winding roads, is guaranteed.

Our Ferrari 308 GTS was delivered to the US. It has MATCHING NUMBERS and is an almost untouched original. This oldtimer was rated a “2” in its classic data evaluation.

In the early 1960s the German designer Graf Goertz had the courage to approach Datsun. The goal was to develop a sports coupe primarily for the US market. He had proven his knack for exciting design with the BMW 507. Unfortunately, before he could finish, his contract with Datsun expired but he was still able to define the most significant design elements. The model was an instant success in the US, also because of its attractive price of $3,526. In Europe, however, the Datsun 240Z never made a real mark, partially because of its fairly high price at DM 17,600.

Our Datsun 240Z Coupe was initially released in the US. Its mileage of 80,000 miles is credible. The oldtimer is partially restored and registered in Germany. A classic data certificate graded the 240Z with a “2”. This coupé is fresh, timeless and offers infinite driving fun!

Lancia Beta 1300

The stunningly gorgeous Lancia Beta Coupe was introduced in 1973 and is based on the shortened version of the limousine but thanks to its front wheel drive this compact car comes with a spacious interior. Throughout its production until 1984 the generally solidly built Coupe 2 received cost saving modifications in its design and interior ordered by its parent company Fiat. So for many of us classic car lovers the first series is the most beautiful, shining with many meticulous details in body and interior, a style we are used to from Lancia!

Our early series Lancia Beta 1300 Coupe was registered in Italy in 1977 and spent most of its life in its homeland. Not until 2016 did it find its way to Germany where it received German papers and was driven rarely and only in nice weather. This makes the incredibly pristine condition of the original interior and a mileage of approx. 53,500 kms credible. This lively classic is in great shape, agile with its 5-speed transmission und impressed with its color combination that blends elegance and “zeitgeist”.

Alfa Romeo GTV 6

Based on the technically revolutionary Alfetta Limousine Alfa Romeo presented the Alfetta GT in 1974, an avant garde, flat sports coupe with generous space proportions. In 1980 the renamed GTV was slightly modernized in style and interior and its premium models got the legendary V6 engine. This addition brought out the “V” (for “veloce” = fast in Italian) in an otherwise very balanced model and it provides great driving fun to this day!

Our late series Alfa Romeo GTV 6 Coupe was delivered in Hamburg in 1985. As a young used car it received a new engine and has been in collectors’ hands since then. The original toolbox as well as the service booklet with 5 entries are available. A belt change and tension roller change were last completed in 2018 and the last full service happened in 2019. This sporty yet understated and rare classic has a big personality, is in pristine shape and brings a smile to every driver and passenger thanks to its marvelous V6 engine. Give it a try!

Jaguar’s large saloon, the MK VII, was introduced in 1950. Its marketing coined the slogan “Grace, Space, Pace”, a perfect description of its outstanding attributes. Its detailed design evolved from the MK VIII to the MK IX, its most mature model. Very fast at 220 PS and comfortable as an automatic. A little over 4,000 cars with left hand drive were manufactured.

Our Jaguar MK IX hails from the US and has been completely restored by its current owner in Germany which increased its purchase value significantly. The classic is registered in Germany and technically super fit with just a few light signs of wear which are actually charming. We are always on the lookout for classic cars like this, which got invested in without worrying too much about cost. This saloon is a perfect example!

For BMW, the break at the end of the Second World War was particularly harsh: The car plant in Eisenach was lost, and the plant in Munich was largely dismantled. Nevertheless, the automobile industry was reorganized in Munich in 1951/52. Unfortunately, BMW could hardly make money with the Isetta on the one hand and the big luxury saloons on the other. It was the small but modern BMW 700 that saved the company in the end. With the “new class” BMW returned to success in 1962. The BMW 501 with the six-cylinder engine was the first post-war construction: superbly engineered suspension, conservative but solid bodywork and an engine developed from the pre-war BMW 326. The BMW 501 with the newly developed V8 aluminum engine (2.6-liter displacement) closed the gap between the six-cylinder and the more opulent equipped 502 model.

Our BMW 501 V8 was built on December 18th 1958 and not registered until 28.03.1960 because of non-acceptance. The buyer was from Pforzheim (Germany). This noble sedan with gray paint and dark green leather is very elegant, with a mileage of only 70,000 km, which appears probable.

The reopening of the Daimler-Benz Factory Museum in February 1961 was the perfect moment to present the new coupés and convertibles in the W 111 series. The media was impressed and applauded the high quality and manufacturing detail of the new series.To this day, the W 111 series coupés and convertibles are considered to be very successful.

Our Mercedes-Benz 220 SE b Convertible was delivered in December 1964 by the dealership in Duisburg/Germany. Since 1981 the classic has been owned by the current owner who at one point had the car licensed in Switzerland. Before 1981 the car had suffered engine failure on a trip to Italy. At the time it received a replaced engine from the MB 230 S with 2 carburetors and 120 PS, so almost a perfect fit. This aggregate has been delivering great service to this day! In 1982 the car received a complete overhaul by Zeilinger Karroseriebau in Munich/Germany. Since 2004 the classi car has been registered in Germany again and is enjoying best care and the occasional outing. Its design combines a moss green metallic exterior with a cognac colored leather interior – perfection!

In the US, the popular Jeep was offered as a civilian version after the second world war. The British car manufacturer Rover wanted to do the same and return to car manufacturing with a concept for farmers and forest workers. The Land Rover was meant as a transition until more “beautiful” limousines could be manufactured again but its simple and extremely sturdy construction was a great success worldwide. The Land Rover ended up being built in many versions between 1948 and 2016.

Our Land Rover is from the series III, built between 1971 and 1985. The station wagon with short wheelbase (88″, SWB) has a tropical roof and four foldable and sideways facing seats in the back. It is registered in Germany. This Land Rover is an elegant and authentic companion for hobbies and recreation!

The new SL had to replace the iconic 300 SL but also the very successful mode 190 SL. That is why the Mercedes sports car was newly defined: high performance combined with optimal driving behavior and polished comfort. These criteria matched perfectly with the series W 113 and the 230 SL and it became a modern replacement for the 190 SL. The 300 SL, however, was irreplaceable. The market welcomed the new SL with enthusiasm and that has not changed. Mercedes-Benz has been known to constantly upgrade its model series thus the 230 SL became the 250 SL and ultimately the 280 SL, its most mature version.

Our impressive 280 SL was delivered to the US with a title in California. It has been registered in Germany since 1995 and is with its current owner since 1997. The classic has been a loyal companion on big trips. Despite its origin in the US, it features the so-called medium rear axle transmission. This car comes with comprehensive receipts from German body shops confirming that it has always been technically taken care of.
